Notary Services We offer notary services
at all of our offices for both customers and non-customers. A
notary's main function is to administer oaths and
affirmations, take affidavits and statutory declarations,
witness and authenticate the execution of certain classes of
documents, take acknowledgements of deeds and other
conveyances, and perform certain other official acts
depending on the jurisdiction. Costs for notary
services are as follows:
Free for all Carter Bank &
Trust customers with an open, active account
$5.00 per signature for all non-customers
Wire Transfers We offer
both repetitive and non-repetitive wire transfers at
any of our office locations. Wire transfers
allow you to transfer funds immediately instead of
having to wait a day for the funds to transfer.
We offer both incoming and outgoing wires from your
Carter Bank & Trust account. The fees are
listed below.
We offer night depository services to all of our
customers. We do offer lock bags to commercial
and consumer customers. One night deposit bag
including keys is free!
Additional bags and replacement keys are charged as
follows:
$20 Night Depository Bag (including keys)
$5 Night Depository bag keys only
$5 Night Depository chest key
*Note: A night depository bag is not
required to use the night depository service.
Cashier's Checks are available to customers and
non-customers. The purchase of a Cashier's Check
must be from guaranteed funds (cash or check drawn
off Carter Bank & Trust) and does not have a face
value limit. The cost of our Cashier's Checks is $4.00.
